Ana Karina Santos /@anaksantos12.- La obra “Enojada” de Ini Viera ha sido galardonada en la Exposición y Concurso Internacional Amigos del Mundo 360 “Arte por Inclusión” de la Comunidad Artout Argentina. Una iniciativa artística que se inspiró en un tema de gran relevancia para la humanidad como lo es la inclusión.
La pieza creada por Ini Viera al mejor estilo de mosaico artístico, se inspiró en Sharbat Gula, mujer cuyos ojos han sido observados por gran cantidad de personas en el mundo gracias a la fotografía realizad por Steve Mccurry y que se convirtió en tapa de la revista National Geographics hace más de 25 años. Sobre la obra Viera señala: Mi obra está basada en la primera foto que le tomó, la cual tenía que haber sido la tapa, respetando su religión, su etnia y sus costumbres. En cambio, publicaron la foto con su cara descubierta, sin saber que las mujeres de esa etnia no pueden descubrirse la cara frente a los hombres extraños. Tal acción le trajo muchísimos problemas a Sharbat en su vida, la única vez que pudo decir lo que pensaba al respecto de esa foto fue que estaba “Enojada”. La inclusión tiene que respetar las particularidades de cada uno, sin que ninguna esté por arriba de las otras, señaló Viera. An artistic initiative that was inspired by a topic of great relevance to humanity such as inclusion.
The piece created by Ini Viera in the best style of artistic mosaic, was inspired by Sharbat Gula, a woman whose eyes have been observed by a large number of people in the world thanks to the photograph taken by Steve McCurry and which became the cover of the magazine National Geographics for over 25 years. About the work Viera points out: My work is based on the first photo she took, which should have been the cover, respecting her religion, ethnicity and customs. Instead, they published the photo with their face uncovered, not knowing that women of this ethnic group cannot uncover their faces in front of strange men. Such an action brought Sharbat a lot of trouble in her life, the only time she could say what she thought about that photo was that she was «Angry.» Inclusion has to respect the particularities of each one, without any one being above the others, said Viera.
